Kidnapped wife of Mr Olugbenga Ale, the Chief of Staff to Ondo State governor on Saturday regained her freedom.
Mrs Ale who was abducted on Thursday night by some suspected gunmen at Owena area, near Akure, was rescued alongside her friend who was on transit with her.
Reports say security agencies initiated a manhunt for the suspects, following intelligence gathering spearheaded by the Amotekun Corps which indicated the location and track of the hoodlums.
It was gathered that after sessions of exchange of gunfire, the combined operations of joint security agencies were able to overpower the hoodlums and rescue, the victims.
Confirming the development, Mr Olugbenga Ale disclosed that his wife and her friend were rescued unhurt.
