
Authorities of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has shut down the school indefinitely.
In a circular signed by the Registrar, Mr Sule Atiku, students were therefore directed to vacate the campus with immediate effect.
As at the time of filling the report, no reason has been given for the decision but it was gathered that there are issues over industrial relationship between the management and trade unions at the institution.
The lecturers and other staff have refused to work over unpaid entitlements and salaries.
