You Are Great Initiative Incorporated donates food items, others to Ondo Orphanage

A Non Govermental Organisation known as You Are Great Initiative, Incorporated on Saturday donated  food items, toiletries and baby’s care materials to Ondo State’s orphanage along Oba-Ile.

The National Coordinator of the organization, Chief Mrs Oluremi Fagunwa said the gesture by You Great Initiative Incorporated to the motherless home was the second time, as such had also been replicated in all States in the Southwest region within the shortest period of its establishment.

She explained that the organisation was established to give back to the society by motivating other kind-hearted individuals to join the train, noting that the organization had over 60 members both in Nigeria and abroad.

Fagunwa added that their visit to Ondo State to identify with the children as a usual tradition, would continue, while appealing to other well-to-do personalities in the society to partner You Great Initiative Incorporated in order to touch more lives.

The group’s national coordinator stated the visit would be the tenth in the Southwest Nigeria of donating to the less privileged, including the widows.

She expressed readiness to extend it to the elderly homes and others as time went on.

Responding , the Head of the home, Mrs. Helen Anamebo appreciated the organization for remembering the children at this difficult time and for the distance they covered to come down to Ondo from their different states without minding the security situation in the country.

She solicited their help for the children’s education, noting that since government could only cater for them till secondary school level, some children find it difficult to proceed to the higher institutions as a result of financial incapability.

Some of the items brought included bag of rice, tubers of yam, toiletries, carton of frozen fish, drinks, flour, pampers, groundnut oil, among others.
