Why students of Army Secondary schools have edge in Nigerian Armed forces

Students ,parents and teachers of Command day secondary, Akure on Wednesday rolled out drums on major streets of the Ondo state capital,to create awareness of the ongoing admission into the school.

The students who were gorgeously dressed in ceremonial uniform lined up in a long procession to created awareness while leaflets were being given to passers by and motorists.

The procession was also accompanied with  Amry band who spiced  the awareness walk with drums and trumpets.

The train also visited the palace of Deji of Akure, Ova Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi to pay him homage.

Speaking with Our correspondent, the Commandant ,Command day secondary School Akure, Major Francis Adesina said “ the essence of the rally is to create awareness to akure populace and its environs because we realize that the people of Akure don’t know anything about Command day Secondary School and that is why we say there is a need to do some publicity about the school. It is only in Ondo state they don’t know the value of command day secondary School.

Command day secondary school stands for discipline, dedication and academic excellence and through command secondary School, students can join any of the armed forces and other paramilitary.

My expectation at the end of this efforts is that the population of prospective students skyrockets as admission is ongoing.

There are a lot of renovation works going on in the school as parts of efforts to give the school facelift and to accommodate new students and Akure people will benefit academically, and employment wise.

The school is the cheapest in all army schools in the country ,so it is affordable despite the modern facilities on ground.

Our New laboratory will be  completed  before the students resume in January, 2021. Our clinic is equipped and our library is up to date. ”
