Vigilante Allegedly Arrests Two Police Men With Cannabis Sativa In Benin City.

Two police men have been apprehended by members of home land vigilante in Benin city for allegedly in possession of cannabis sativa popularly referred to as India herbs .

The commander of the vigilante Mr Osasere Ekhator said they arrested the two men with cannabis sativa and after much investigation it was revealed that they were police men, a situation he described as unhealthy for the society.
Contacted the police public relations officer Edo state command SP Kontongs Bello viewed the action of the vigilante in bad light maintaining that the police men were called upon to help secure the release of a civilian friend who was arrested by vigilante unknown to the police men that the man conveying them has illicit drugs in the car.He said the police men are at this point innocent of the crime as the police authority has commenced full scale investigation into the viral video. However due to the arrest of the two police men in Benin city, some vigilante members who spoke off camera said their office have been destroyed by the police and their members whisk away by the police men
The police image maker said the police never attacked them but two of the vigilante members were apprehended for thorough investigation into the incident.
