Traders and shop owners at Ogbese in Akure North local government of Ondo state have again defied governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s order that all major markets be closed  indefinitely as part of measures against the outbreak of deadly coronavirus.

Ogbese market opens every five days with influx of people from in and outside Ondo state who converge to buy and sell.

Our correspondent reports that buying and selling with crowded people are on going as of Nine o’clock on Friday morning with impunity.

Transporters were also conveying passengers without following the government’s directive of social distancing inside commercial vehicles.

Some people who spoke with ROVING REPORTERS expressed fears that the development may jeopardise all preventive measures being put in place by both Federal and State governments to make the society Covid-19 free.
