Even if we are called out from the dark, we can read that the sum of N800 million standing in the account of Ondo State Government as fixed deposit in Providus Bank as at 31st December 2018 has no certificate.

• where is the proof? N800 Million transferred to providus bank account in question was the Ondo State Deposit Account. Are they saying an official state account is an account for the Akeredolu’s? Same thing goes to all the other accounts the monies was transferred to. Anyone can actually initiate a transfer to the said accounts and confirm

LIE TWO
Part of the outcome of this unholy alliance is that key officials of Providus Bank now live in the official residence of the governor and they are being fed with taxpayers money.

• Name names and shame the devil. Who are these providus officials and which house are they living in? The small presidential lodge the governor currently occupies because he didnt see it fit to build a new house in this time of financial crisis?

LIE THREE
The Treasurer and Auditor to the committee is one SIAO Partners, an accounting firm

Already debunked, SIAO Partners are not related to the Ondo State first family in anyway. SIAO is short for Odinachi, Ighodalo, Smith and Aribiyi. Anyone that wants to know the truth can google this. Another fact most dont know is that it is because of SIAO’s involvement with the bond that the fund raising committee reached out to them to assist with the auditing pro bono. LIE FOUR
Greenwich Trust Limited was foisted on Governor Akeredolu by Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the Governor of Ekiti State and “Supervising Governor” of Ondo State.

Is it possible for the Ekiti governor to be supervising governor if the same opposition claims it was the Ondo State governor that put him there? We must be clear on which is which but one thing is clear, it is not nromal in Nigeria for the person that put you there to be subservient to you. Also, they also forgot to mention that Mr Kayode Falowo is an illustrious son of Ondo State who was a part of the state SDPIC committee put together by the governor before his inauguration.

LIE FIVE
Why is the sum of N14.2billion outstanding when all parties to the Bond issue have been settled and the commitment of Ondo State to the debt of N30billion has been mandated?

Only time in this tirade that a good question was asked but a conclusion reached without requesting for more information. According to the DMO, ODSG was not in a position to access all 30 billion so the bond issuance was split into two.

It is not possible to access 30 billion completely and the entire financial industry especially the SEC will not be aware. Do these people realize that individuals and companies HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE TO A BOND and the bond process is public? they should check the Nigerian Stock Exchange to know exactly how much was issued.

LIE SIX

Babajide became the Technical Consultant to Worley Parsons. Worley Parsons is the owner of 49% of DeltaTek and Delta Afrik where Engr Akinwumi Odumakinde is CEO.

• Babajide is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of technology with a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado SChool of Mines (one of the best petroluem engineering institutions in the world) and another masters in Mining Engineering at the presitigious Queen’s University in Canada, also one of the best Mining Engineering institutions in the world. On Merit alone, he has every right to work as a Technical consultant at Worley*

LIE SEVEN
The consortium is currently holding oil blocks belonging in part to Ondo State Government said to be worth well over $1billion.

– This is not possible, everyone is aware that Ondo State owns 2 oil blocks (OML 95 and OPL 241) all of which are still roped in litigation that is being settled. Both blocks are owned be Owena Oil and Gas and Owena Energy, all Ondo State Owned SPVs.  Anyone that desires to know the truth can visit https://ng-check.com/ to confirm the board structure of these entities. it is even known that the FG just recently tried to revoke the license of OML 95. Of course a company like Delta Afrik with its expertise will never let this happen. All are also free to reach out to the chairman of Owena, Prof. Oyedele (yes he is the brother to the same Oyedele running for office against the governor)

LIE EIGHT
Segun Fagboyegun: He is Babajide’s kinsman from Owo. The launderman and new bride
– correction, Mr Segun Fagboyegun is now Mr Segun Olugboyegun an illustrious Son from Owo which last i checked, is also in Ondo State. Arguably one of the most successful Owo indigenes that has invested a ton in the state. Anyone that will question his presence in the committee like this does not like Ondo State at all. The same people that questioned the constitution of the committee for being too small are now changing tune from they cannot be effective to being Babajide cronies after they have seen that the community is on track to raising over a billion naira for the state

LIE NINE
Babajide is the consultant to Ondo State Development and Investment Promotion Agency (ONDIPA) appointed by his father in 2017. The civil service can testify how much this position has been used by Babajide to pillage Ondo State immense wealth while flaunting his loots among the rickety dwellings of the real owners.

– correction, Babajide helped setup ONDIPA Pro Bono. Matter of fact, he helped come up with it the name ONDIPA and helped develop the brand identity to sell the state that has led to Ondo Linyin industrial Hub and over $400 Million guaranteed in grants and support from multinationals such as AFDB, World Bank, JICA, GIZ, Facebook and Microsoft. Now the worldbank is intervening on Araromi sea incursion, Owena dam, 500km of rural roads, govt transparency. What this means is that unlike general govt funds, these projects will not be starved and they will certainly be completed.They will not mention how he ran all over the country to help model ONDIPA like other successful IPA’s like ANSIPPA and KADIPA and the results are speaking for themselves. Are you going to be mad at someone for helping his state progress because he is the son of the governor? At zero cost to govt? Is there any proof of payment for consultancy for the setting up of ONDIPA?

LIE TEN
Babajide is the defacto Chief of Staff, a position he is so proud of that his father consider him fit to occupy.

*-Everyone reading this attempt at soiling ones name has to ask themselves a very key question; If Babajide had all these power behind the scenes for over 3 years, why would he even bother being secretary of a small committee like the COVID19 Fund Raising Committee now of all times? The total amount to be raised by the committee will not even be close to the amount alleged to have been looted. It doesnt make sense.
