Suspected ritualists have beheaded a 12-year-old girl, simply identified as Eguono, at Okwemeva junction off Scott road in Oghara, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was also gathered that vital organs of the girl were removed by the suspected ritualists.
Residents of the area were shocked over the incident.
The remains of the victim was evacuated by the Police in the town
Confirming the incident, Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa said, “The DPO actually called me; but they said the gi,rl was not mentally okay.
“Yes, it is confirmed, but the DPO has commenced investigation to unravel the true story as to why the girl was beheaded.”
