Amotekun corps in Ondo State has arrested 22 Suspects for various Offences including kidnapping, Armed Robbery,stealing and rape.
Ondo state Amotekun commander, chief Adetunji Adeleye who briefed journalists while parading the suspects said the state is no longer safe for criminals.
One of the male kidnap suspects dressed in a female gown was alleged to have kidnapped a priest,four women in a church including elderly women who are currently receiving treatment in Amotekun health facilities in the state.
According to the Amotekun corps commander, Adetunji Adeleye, the suspect was arrested during a kidnapping operation by men of his command while his gang members escaped.
Chief Adeleye cautioned members of the public to be security conscious.
The commander also paraded 21 suspects including suspects who sell illicit drugs popularly referred to as Indian hemp.He added that about three hundred motorcycles and vehicles with tinted glasses without plate numbers were impounded during the corps operations in the last two weeks.
