Ondo state has recorded second positive case of Coronavirus.
Confirming the case to ROVING REPORTERS ,the commissioner for health ,Dr. Wahab Adegbenro said the patient has been isolated and that the four persons he had direct contact with had also been isolated
He said the patients had been transferred to the state Infectious Disease Hospital, along Igbatoro road, Akure.
Meanwhile, the state Epidemiologist, Dr Stephen Fagbemi has revealed how an Airport staff brought second COVID- 19 case to Ijoka area of Akure,the state capital.
He said the second positive case of Coronavirus in Ondo state was brought to the state by a staff of the Muritala Muhammed, Airport, Lagos.
According to him, the patient retuned to Akure after the pronouncement of total lockdown order in Lagos.
The victim who resides in Ijoka area of Akure has been transfered to Infectious Disease Hospital.
