The Managing Director, Klick Konnect international, Chief Alex Ajipe on Friday urged the people of Ondo state to drop politics of bitterness and reelect Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for a second term in office for the completion and stability of Ondo / Linyi industrial hub and other laudable projects embarked upon by his administration.
Ajipe made this known while addressing online media practitioners in Akure, ondo state Capital.
Ajipe who extensively explained the passion of Akeredolu to ensure Ondo state became a state filled with many industries pointed out that dirty politics should be set aside at this period so that the industrial hub could witness landmark stability within the next four years.
He feared that if Akeredolu could not get his reelection in October governorship election, it would have negative effects on his vision for Ondo state.
According to Ajipe , Akeredolu needs the next four years to complete the projects that would generate jobs for 20,000 Ondo natives.
He said “If peradventure we do not have Aketi for second term in Ondo state, then lot of those projects will face set back and I don’t want to mince words for you.
I want you to believe that we are saying the truth. A lot of it will go backward and will need extra efforts to make it going again .

He personally went to China to sign a bi-city agreement with the mayor of Linyi and the mayor promised him so many things and out of what he promised, over 60% of those things are not documented. They are not things you can write but they are things that he’s already doing for the benefit of Ondo state.
If he is not reelected, it will be difficult for the mayor to continue fulfilling his promises. We will need extra efforts make such possible again.
I must tell you that all Akeredolu has done to ensure success in the industrial hub must be sustained because he is the one with the strong vision to make that happen and if not so, it will cause some setbacks either we like it or not and we can not say that 100 percent of the investors will still wait.

People are playing politics with everything but I think as a people, we must have a way where we are reasonable with the politics we are playing. I am not saying Aketi is 100 percent perfect but I think we should look at how many people that would be employed in that industrial hub by the time the place is fully running.
And within eight years of Akeredolu’s government, that place would have turned to a full capacity hub and if Akeredolu now leaves and someone else comes ,the people that are working there that will be about 60 cent of ondo state workforce that would have migrated to that area ,they won’t allow any governor to kill the project and in fact, it will become an issue. ”
