Ondo state Amotekun Corps has paraded 71 Suspected criminals before journalists.
According to the Amotekun commander, Adetunji Adeleye, the Suspects were paraded for offences ranging from cattle rustling, armed robbery, motorcycle snatching, kidnapping, cultism to human trafficking.
Out of the 71 Suspects, 16 were paraded for snatching motorcycles in Akure, five for cattle rustling in owo, 11 for armed robbery in Idanre and others for cultism, kidnapping and human trafficking.
The Amotekun corps commander, Adetunji Adeleye explained that the Suspects were arrested within one month, some at the scene of crime while others were traced to their hideout.
He assured that the state will no longer be a safe haven for criminals.
Items recovered from the suspects were locally made short gun, knives and 17 motorcycles.
Meanwhile, the Ondo Amotekun commander Adetunji Adeleye has disclosed that some persons have been arrested in connection with the recent Owo Massacre. some facilities including a vehicle they used have also been recovered.
He assured that they will soon be made public after investigation is concluded.
