The Senator Representing Enugu West, Senator Ike Ekweremadu on Wednesday said there is no possibility of shifting the PDP Governorship primary election in Ondo state.
There have been agitations , allegations and counter allegations among the governorship aspirants of attempts to induce the committee in charge of compilation of delegates list ahead of party’s primaries .
The Senator who is the chairman of the PDP local government congress committee in Ondo state, however said the issue of doctored list has been resolved, hence the need to go ahead with the primary as scheduled.
The former deputy senate president noted that the local government congress election was free in all the eighteen local government areas of Ondo state.
He boasted that the party would reclaim in Ondo state in the forthcoming Governorship election.
According to him, the PDP is well prepared to dislodge APC and take over the reins of power in Ondo state.
“PDP is well positioned in Ondo state and we are ready to take over power in the state. Members here have resolved their differences and they are wiling to work as a team to dislodge APC.
” In the last election, we have two senators and APC has one. That is to show that we are ready and prepared to win Ondo state”
