Ondo 2020: Jegede better than other candidates

A political group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo state, ’Opomulero’ on Monday drummed support for the party’s governorship candidate,Eyitayo Jegede,describing him as the most preferred candidate with sound political idea needed to alleviate various problems facing the people of the state in the forthcoming election.

Director of the group, Olasupo Olakunri stated this in an interview with journalists while leading a ten thousand man match to the Eyitayo Jegede campaign office in Akure, the state capital.

Olakunri said the group which members spread across the 18 local government areas of the state showed their selfless support by walking from Opomulero office in Adinlewa street,to the PDP secretariat and terminated at the Eyitayo campaign office along agbogbo in Akure the state capital to show solidarity for the party, demanding for a change in 2020 governorship election.

While appreciating the delegates and PDP members for voting for Mr Eyitayo Jegede SAN, Mr Olakunri noted that the present APC administration has brought hardship to the people in several ways such as the poor healthcare and the high tuition fee for students hence the desire for a change.

Two members of OPOMULERO GROUP from Okitipupa and Ikare Mrs Janet Akinfenwa and Mrs Olubunmi Sanusi who spoke to journalists vowed that women in all the three senatorial district of the state have decided to come out in large number to vote for PDP in the upcoming Ondo gubernatorial election.
