Ahead of October 10, governorship election in Ondo State, the Deputy Senate Leader of the National Assembly, Senator Ajayi Boroffice has rolled out branded bags of rice for the re-election project of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The bags of rice, with the inscription “Let come together, work together, and win together for Aketi 2020 second term” are meant to be distributed to the people of the state to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sources within the APC said the recent contributions of Senator Boroffice, who is representing Ondo Northern Senatorial District to the party could be linked to the outcome of the peace parley of Governor Sani Bello of Niger State APC led’s reconciliation committee.
Akeredolu and Boroffice had been at loggerheads for four years.
It was learnt that the differences between the duo has been resolved by the committee.
A party leader said “In Ondo APC, we are now one. All the factions in the party have resolved to work for the progress of the party. There is no longer Unity Forum or Team Aketi again in APC. We are now a one big family.
“Our leaders are so committed in the re-election project of Governor Akeredolu. Just last week Thursday, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN accompanied the governor to Okitipupa and he also joined leaders of the party to receive Akeredolu in Ilaje. Victory is sure for us in Ondo State”
