Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Natural Resources, Fatai Lawal on Tuesday put smiles on the faces of members of his campaign group who worked rigorously for the reelection of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on October 10, 2020.
The items distributed to the beneficiaries included five Toyota Siena, Five Volk Wagen Golf Cars and 15 motorcycles.
The event, which was held in the Owo local government area of the state was also part of the activities organised by Fatai Lawal to celebrate the inauguration ceremony of Governor Akeredolu slated for February 24, 2021.
Presenting the items to the beneficiaries, the Governor’s aide said the purpose of the empowerment is to ameliorate the current economic hardship and to improve their livelihood.
He also said the empowerment was to complement Governor Akeredolu’s efforts in rewarding dedicated and loyal APC members.
According to him “we will continue to support and promote loyalists of this great party who toiled day and night for the re-election of Governor Akeredolu”.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Soji Boyede (SOJ) commended the donor for keeping his promise, while also praying to God for more blessing for them.
