Ondo 2020: Akeredolu will perform better than Mimiko if reelected –Former Deputy Speaker

As governorship election draws near, a former Deputy Speaker, Ondo state House of Assembly, Dare Emiola has mobilised his teeming followers to work for the reelection of governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in October.

Addressing hundreds of his supporters from , APC , ADC and Zenith Labour Party , ZLP in Akoko south west local government of the state, Emiola said it was high time  the people of Ondo North Senatorial district rally round Akeredolu to win the governorship election.

Emiola said “ Since last year, we have been consulting politically and our discovery was that Akeredolu deserves to be reelected for another four years.

We also discovered that the Ondo Northern senatorial district must complete its eight years based on the political permutations on ground.

We believe that Aketi has done his best ,although his best is not enough, but Mimiko was able to achieve a lot because of his eight years in office.

If Akeredolu is given the opportunity to complete his eight years, he will perform better than Mimiko.

But when his administration is truncated and we are starting another four years, that means we in the northern senatorial district will be shortchanged and we will be disadvantaged.

We have come together and take decision that Akeredolu should go for second term .We have taken the decision for the betterment of Ondo state and based on reality on ground. ”
