The Director General, National Youth Service Corps, NYSC,Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has warned corps members against indecent dressing as erring corps members will face strict punishment.
Brigadier General Ibrahim gave the warning when he paid unannounced visit to the 2019 Batch ‘B’ (Stream 11) corps members currently at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State.
The DG NYSC who expressed worries over rate of indecent dressing among corps members in uniform said the scheme would no longer condone such act of indiscipline.
According to Brigadier General Ibrahim,All the State Coordinators have been empowered to enforce the right way of dressing by investing in large banners to showcase the appropriate and correct ways of wearing NYSC uniform.
He also cautioned the members of the service corps to avoid ridiculing NYSC by misinforming the world through unguarded use of social media.
