There is palpable tension in Enerhen community, Uvwie council area of Delta State following the gruesome murder of the Operations Officer of 3 Battalion, Nigerian Army David Ejoor Barracks, Effurun.
It was gathered the deceased officer simply identified as Lieutenant Musa, was killed last Friday evening along Enerhen Link Road beside Urhobo College, Effurun.
He was said to be driving a private vehicle when gunmen shot him.
Efforts to get comments from Army spokesman, Brigadier General Onyema Nwanchukwu and the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations of 63 Brigade Headquarters, Asaba, Captain George Okupe, were unsuccessful.
