Kayode Ajulo Demands Removal Of Ondo CP Over Isinigbo/Igoba Crisis

Legal luminary, Dr. Kayode Ajulo has called on the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Oyediran Oyeyemi in Ondo State, to urgently address the looming crisis in Isinigbo, Akure or be removed as the Commissioner of Police by the Inspector General of Police.

According to him, the area has been hijacked by unscrupulous elements who are threatening the peaceful atmosphere of the community.

In his words, “the lackadaisical attitude of the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Oyediran Oyeyemi to handling the situation is quite applauling and worrisome, as his inability to address this issue will lead to another major crises in the community.

Dr. Kayode Ajulo revealed that a similar situation occurred last year which eventually led to the death of two members of the Ode community and the burning down of the palace of the self appointed traditional chief of the community.

According to investigation, the leader of the thugs was said to have claimed that he has the back up of the Commissioner of Police in the State hence nothing can be done to stop him.

Dr. Kayode Ajulo also stated that if adequate measures are not taking to address the situation before it gets out of order, he would raise a petition against Mr. Oyediran Oyeyemi at the Presidency and the National Security Adviser in Abuja.

Its unfortunate that the two officers mentioned by their actions to serve as perpectual enforcers to such character have wittingly undermined your office. Each State High Court has its enforcement unit.

Whereas, theres no Court Judgment against the property of the poor widow but shes being subjected to threats and boast that someone will be killed on her property and nothing will happen because those two officers will be the investigators of any crime committed by him. So hes assured of the outcome.

This also explained why he refused to honour Police invitation till date, demanding that the CP must come to his house, what an audacity.
