The Ondo state police command has said it has not arrested any suspect in connection with the bank robbery incident at Ile oluji.
The recent bank robbery where two major banks were robbed claimed the lives of five police officers while all suspects escaped with their loots.
There have however been rumours that one of the suspected armed robbers that operated at ile Oluji had been arrested ,a report the Police spokesperson described as untrue.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Public Relations Officer ,Femi Joseph said
“Let me quickly debunk the rumours making rounds that the robbers or some of the robbers involved in Ile Oluji Bank robbery have been arrested.
It is true that we have Some armed robbery suspects in our custody now especially those that were involved in some heinous Crimes including various robbery incidents in the state, but none of them has so far been linked with Ile Oluji bank robbery.
We are however still working on them and still on the trail of some, still at large to see if they were connected with Ile Oluji incident. ”
