As the Ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu announced on Tuesday that he has tested positive to COVID-19, there have been pressure mounted on him to handover government to his deputy, Agboola Ajayi.
Akeredolu who disclosed his Covid19 status in a video on social media explained explained that he would be governing the state from home.
Reactions have however been trailing the development as some people suspected to be followers of the deputy governor had been asking Akeredolu to hand over to his deputy.

Meanwhile , the media adviser to Ajayi , Allen Sowore has asked the supporters of the deputy governor to stop playing politics with the health of Akeredolu.
According to Sowore , issue of Covid19 should not be something to play about as it could happen to anyone.
He added that he had directed all supporters of Akeredolu to be careful of comments they post on social media,rather they should be praying for quick recovery of the governor.
