Christian leaders back Akeredolu’s order on local Vigilante in Ondo

We Christian Leaders from the Mainline Denominations held our meeting at the CAN House on Wednesday, 3rd of March, 2021.

We commend Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, for his initiatives to secure Ondo State from criminals hiding in our forests.

We particularly praise him for mandating all Local Government Chairmen to organize Local Vigilantes/Hunters to provide security in their Local Governments.

We support this mandate and therefore plead with all traditional rulers, religious and opinion leaders, as well as all stakeholders to cooperate with their Local Government Chairmen to ensure the successful implementation of this directive.

Our Governor’s effort to make the security of lives and properties a priority in the State is highly commendable.
