Casualties As Explosion Rocks Ondo church

The St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo town, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State capital was attacked on Sunday.

Report says some worshippers were feared killed as a result of the incident.

A source said the incident caused pandemonium in the area as residents in the neighbourhood of the church ran for safety.

It was also gathered that the church was very close to  the palace of Olowo of Owo.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command was yet to ascertain the cause the incident.

The figure of the dead and injured were not  ascertained at the time of this report.
