Another Air Disaster Occurred, As Chinese Navy Jet Crashes, Killing Two Pilots
Two pilots died after a Chinese Navy fighter jet crashed during training on Tuesday, the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
The Chinese Su-27UBK crashed in Ledong Li Autonomous County, on the southern island of Hainan, during training and two pilots were killed.
The pilots were Wu Yongming, 36, deputy chief-of-staff of a regiment, and 33-year-old Yu Liang, a flight battalion chief.
Authorities said investigation has commenced to ascertain the cause of the crash.
