Banji Alabi, best council chairman in RUGIPO history –Akeredolu

The Ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has showered commendation on the Governing council of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, led by Banji Alabi and the school management for their performance and efforts at taking the institution to a greater height.

He also described Alabi as the best chairman, governing council ,the school has ever had in its history.

Akeredolu stated this during the recent foundation laying ceremony of the Ultra -modern hostels of the institution.

Akeredolu who was impressed with various achievements and developmental strides on the campus said ” You have performed excellently and you have made me proud.

It is not surprising to me, when I appointed you and your team, I knew that I have picked the right people. I know what you are capable of doing.”

“ since the school was established, no Chairman has performed as you. Your commitment to the success of this cidatel of learning is great. I want to commend you, members of the governing council, the school management and the entire students for this great feats.

Chairman of Governing council, Banji Alabi thanked the Governor for his support for the school and assured him of his un -alloyed commitment to the school.

The Chairman said the support of the state governor for the school has gone a long way in making learning and teaching condusive.

“Trans-generational monument is being erected again in a school whose first and only student accommodation facility is as old as the school itself. After decades of state leadership in the Sunshine State, we are all gathered here today to unveil yet another monumental arcade by the same governor whose tenure saw to the launch of several projects in the school aside the newly launched ‘RUGIPO 101.3FM radio station’ few days ago.”

“From all of us in the Polytechnic community – WE SAY A BIG THANK YOU SIR. When students are well accommodated, issues of the classrooms and textbooks would definitely be well accommodated in their brains! A good post-examination grade begins from a good bedspace for the student!!! Thanks for alluding to this concept Sir by giving us better accommodation.” He said

“To all other stakeholders and financiers, this project is just one in a million that would transform the fortunes of this great institution and our students. My joy is that we have a willing governor who is ever ready to partner on mutually benefitting projects of this nature so as to fulfill the desires of a people-centered government of Ondo State.”
