APC Suspends Sales Of Edo Guber Forms

The leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended sales of expression of interest and nomination forms for the Edo State governorship election slated for September 21, 2024, INFO DAILY has exclusively gathered.

Report says that the APC started sales of governorship forms yesterday, January 10, and was expected to end February 7, 2024.

According to a reliable source and leader of the APC,  the suspension was occasioned by a meeting scheduled to hold in Abuja on Saturday.

According to our source, all national leaders, state leaders and all the governorship aspirants numbering about 26 are expected to be in attendance at the meeting.

Our source disclosed that the most agitated zoning of the governorship ticket would top agenda of the meeting.

“Yes, APC has suspended sales of the governoship forms which started yesterday (January, 10, 2024). The suspension is to pave way for a meeting scheduled to hold in Abuja where the issue of zoning will be deliberated upon. Zoning will be extensively discussed , and it is expected that our party will come up with a consensus candidate.

“All the 26 govenorship aspirants are expected to be in the meeting. All national leaders and state leaders are expected to be there. Senator Adams Oshiomhole is expected to be there. Our Malik Afegbua will be there.

“All the leaders from the 18 local government councils of the state and the three senatorial districts are expected to be in the meeting. At the end , a consensus candidate is expected to emerge,” the source disclosed.
