Akeredolu lied to Ilaje and Ese Odo people

I actually do not want to conclude it was the usual election lies, fabricated to woo unsuspecting masses. I want to argue he couldn’t have said that and reneged on his promise. Did they not call him the ‘Talk And Do’ governor?

A week before the November 26th, 2016 gubernatorial elections in Ondo State, Mr. ‘Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, then candidate of APC, was in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area to LIE to the people of the riverine area.

He lied to the good people of Ilaje. He promised them what he couldn’t and wouldn’t fulfill. Deep in his mind, he knew he would never do this, yet lied to a local government that gave him over 7,000 votes later in the week.

Arakunrin Akeredolu also lied to the people of Igbekebo and the whole of Ese Odo. Even if he doesn’t have any connection to Igbokoda and Ilaje, what about Ese-Odo where his mother hails from? This same Ese-Odo LG gave him almost 11,000 votes a week later.

Aketi lied to two local governments that gave him 17,730 out of his total 224,842 votes.

“Therefore, I want to say expressly that the headquarters of the Ondo State Oil Producing Development Area Commission, OSOPADEC, will be relocated from Akure to Igbokoda with an area office at Igbekebo so that the commission could serve the purpose which it was established for”.

It’s over 3 years Arakunrin Akeredolu has been in Alagbaka and instead of using the wealth of these people for them, the de facto governor from Imo has turned OSOPADEC to MMM, the machine making money for the first family!

Only God can ‘safe’ Ondo people from these confident liars!
