Aisha Buhari blasts presidency over Rumoured President’s New wife

The first lady , Aisha buhari has berated those working under president Mohammadu Buhari for not reacting to rumours that her husband was planning to marry another wife and not living up to expectations while discharging their duties.

Aisha Buhari who was calling from the United Kingdom stated this while answering questions on TVC programme, Journalists Hangout on Thursday.

She said “Actually we all know the situation that the country is now. We are all adults and in that very day, i did not blame the governors specifically.

If i wanted to blame the governors, i would have called on the governors forum are not doing well on this and that.

But if you listened to our conversation, i said what we are suffering from now is as a result of long term of total neglect of what should be offered to the citizens and we are all suffering from it.

We can’t go to our villages and sleep with two eyes closed.

On that very day ,i also mentioned something on social media when the Sultan of Sokoto talked about the social media and its bad effects that are reflecting in the society, and the minister of communication was there.

When something happened , something that the ministers suppose to come out and say it,they don’t say it.

In that very place, the minister of communication gave an example saying that somebody called the Vice President, His excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo ,saying that why did you resign ? He said no, i did not resign. Who told you that i have resigned and he told him it was on social media. Everybody laughed in that Hall.

When i got up to give my speech, i said it wasn’t a laughing matter. I was surprised that everybody laughed. What does that mean ? Saying that a vice president of a country ,a country of 200million people, has resigned. A minister of communication that was supposed to give an order and bring an end to fake news. He just talked about it and everybody laughed and that’s the end of it. No consequences for any offenders, you said what u like and you go free ?

Once there’s no consequences and everybody is not doing what he should,like almost everything is in disarray.

A typical example of what happened is that whenever they supposed to take action,or take charge or to caution people,they keep mute on it.

When it comes to unnecessary things, people will start talking from the presidency.

A typical example of what happened after the election of Bayelsa. When the PDP came out and say that they would suspend his Excellency Goodluck Jonathan ,the former president for doing some wrong ( i didn’t read it because i don’t have time ),i see no reason why Presidency should come out and said that they were shocked to hear that. Is it our business ? Are we PDP members ? Is president Jonathan a member of our party ? What does that has to do with the presidency ?

Meanwhile , it was all over the media that president Buhari was getting married ,and nobody came out to defend the president or say anything about it.”

When asked how she took the news of the president getting married , she said “ i didn’t take it serious because my husband didn’t know what was happening. They just bombarded the social media with the rumour.

I say that we should not allow people that are nobody and nothing to override innocent people, the people that are supposed to be in charge should remain mute meanwhile the bad ones take over the country from us, it is impossible and totally unacceptable.There should be sanity . ”
