The mysterious missing of a one year old boy, Eniola Gold Kolawole inside popular Sotitobire Miracle Center ,Oshinle ,Akure has generated reactions from many residents in the Ondo state capital.
The boy who was said to have been missing during church service on Sunday 10th November,2019 is yet to be found despite series of allegations and counter allegations between the parents of the boy, Mr and Mrs Kolawole and the leadership of Sotitobire Miracle centre, Akure.
After the news filtered out and the parents of the missing Eniola could not see their child, they headed to the palace of Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi to report the case ,a development that attracted many residents of Akure who came in hundreds to take a look at the event in the Palace.
Our reporter said the general overseer of Sotitobire miracle center ,Prophet Babatunde Alfa was also seeing being escorted into the palace by heavily armed police officer and other personal security and had a close door meeting with the Monarch.
It was gathered that Prophet Alfa was summoned by Deji of Akure to hear his own side of the story ,having been alleged of compromise by the parents over the missing child.

A source who was present at the close door meeting and spoke under the condition of anonymity told ROVING REPORTERS that Prophet Alfa claimed that allegations against him was meant to bring him and his ministry down.
According to the source, the Prophet also said there were incoherence in the story of how the kid got lost between the father and the mother of the son.
It was gathered that Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi has resolved to fully wade into the case to help find the missing boy while it is likely that Prophet Alfa and the parents of the missing child would be summoned together.
Prophet Alfa however did not grant interview with journalists after the close door meeting.
Speaking with ROVING REPORTER on Tuesday, the mother of the missing boy who was overwhelmed with grief, Mrs Modupe Kolawole recounted how the boy got missing, saying she discovered that her boy was missing during church service at Sotitobire miracle centre at Oshinle in Akure.

Mrs Kolawole said “ It happened that they have been advising me to take my son to the creche of the church for so long but i felt he was too young because he is just One year and one month.
But on Sunday ,i decided to bring him to the church creche and registered him with number 87 on the creche book and after an hour ,i went back to check on him. I discovered that he was not facing where i left him as his chair had been turned to a particular lady who i thought was working there.
I also saw my child holding a snack and i queried them and asked them to only give my child whatever he has in his lunch bag.
I went back to the church and when it was 11:45am while the service was ongoing, i went back to the creche again but could not find my boy.
I asked all of them in charge, they asked me to look for him among the 200 children in the creche which i did but could not find him.
When it was 3pm, i was still searching and the ushers in the church were just looking at me unconcerned.
After they saw my reaction ,they went to inform the pastor (Alfa) who assured that the child would be found.
To my surprise, Prophet Alfa later told us in the evening that i and my husband should go home and sleep that the kid would be found and I had to call my sister from Ondo town and she arrived at 8pm.
It was my sister who alerted our consciousness. She laid hands on my husband and i to pray for us and from there i started gaining my consciousness.
It was then we decided to report the case at B division police station and i went back to the church in tears and met Prophet Alfa Babatunde. He still assured us that the boy was around and whoever took him will return him.
He then called one inspector Abdul and inspector Abdul asked us to wait till 24hours. Prophet Alfa later called his PA to give inspector Abdul 20k that inspector Abdul would understand.
We slept in the church till Monday and could not see the boy so i went to the media and the DSS , NSCDC and other places and while i was doing that, Prophet Babatunde did not call me to show concern.
I was angry and took along my friends to raise alarm in the church having been suspicious of how the event unfolded. I broke bottles in the church out of anger.
Lest i forget, while ushers were being asked about the missing boy, all ushers claimed they went out. How possible is that for 14 ushers to go out at the same time?
Suddenly ,i met a man who i can not recognize again. The man told me to take the search of my boy more serious. He alleged that Prophet Alfa is planning to make use of Seven children for rituals.
The man told me that while prayer session was going on, he saw the prophet leaving the church for the children church and one of the ushers taking the boy who wore blue cloth out but that he didn’t know if it was my child.
On that day my boy put on blue cloth and till now, i have not heard from the prophet to show concern instead Alfa Babatunde started beating my husband.
All i want is my child. in fact , if i see my child, i will end the case. If he ( prophet Alfa) knows about it or not, he should do something. He should help me look for my child and he is the only child we are having for now. ” Mrs begged.
POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION
However reacting, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Femi Joseph who confirmed the incident, said the command had begun investigation into the matter, while he assured that detectives from the state command would rescue the toddler alive
Joseph explained that there was no formal report of the incident from any quarters, based on the understanding between the parents of the abducted boy and the church leadership.
The PPRO said the Church leaders however reported the incident the following day (on Monday) when the father of the missing boy, Temitope Kolawole, allegedly mobilised some thugs to the church and destroyed the church’s property.
Joseph said the church leadership also alleged that the thugs were about setting the church ablaze when policemen were mobilised to the scene yesterday.
The police spokesman appealed to some of the aggrieved relatives of the victim who invaded the church not to take law into their hands, urging them to allow the security agents to carry out their investigation.
Joseph said “the boy will surely be rescued but i want to appeal to the parents of the missing boy and their relatives not to take law into their hands.”
All efforts to get the reaction of Prophet Babatunde Alfa proved unsuccessful as calls and SMS to his phone line were not responded to as at the time of filing this report.
