Richard Olabode , Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state on new media on Friday posted on his Facebook account in reaction to recent comments by the PDP and ZLP on the reduction of tuition fees in the Ondo state owned tertiary institutions by Akeredolu.

WHEN THEY GO LOW, WE GO HIGH

The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) and the directionless Zenith Labour Party have made a fuss out of the recent reduction of tuition of the Ondo State owned Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba -Akoko.

It’s not surprising that the ZLP would go low in using the issue of education to play politics. Only those who know the worth of gold, value it.

A party that parades a “special center”candidate as its flag bearer would do anything to undermine the issue of education. The “Oluwole Certificate” of this world.

For the PDP, hypocrisy and adversary politics is their bane. A party that left government and bequeathed a whopping N220billion on the state.

A party that abandoned Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology , Okitipupa has suddenly found its voice on the issue of education to hoodwink the good people of the state for votes.

THE ISSUES :

1) With the reduction in AAUA tuition, the PDP should tell us any where in the south west that charges lesser than what’s payable in AAUA.

2) Ondo State is financing three Universities, One Polytechnic and a College of Health Technology. The PDP should tell us which state in the southwest where this is obtainable.

3) During the past administration of the PDP, Federal Allocation was not less than N7billion to the state. Unlike now that states get not more than N4billion or so.

The PDP has failed again in its attempt to deceive the good people of Ondo State.

When they go low, we go high.
