Eyitayo Jegede SAN on Thursday won the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, in Ondo state as the Party’s flag bearer of the October 2020 governorship election in the state.
Jegede who was the party’s candidate in 2016 governorship election and lost to incumbent Akeredolu scored 888 in a keenly contested primary election holding at the international cultural and event centre, Akure, the state capital.
Jegede beat the deputy governor ,Agboola Ajayi who scored 657.
