Four new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Ondo

There are now thirteen nconfirmed cases of Covid19 in Ondo state as NCDC on Friday night confirmed four fresh cases in addition to the nine earlier discovered in the state since the pandemic broke out few weeks ago.

In its daily updates on the disease as displayed on its verified Twitter handle, NCDC declared fresh 238 cases putting the total number of infected people in the country at two thousand one hundred and seventy with three hundred and fifty one recoveries and sixty eight deaths.

Topping the list of states with fresh cases is Kano with ninety two new infections followed by the FCT which has thirty six, Lagos thirty, sixteen in Gombe, ten in Bauchi, eight in Delta, Oyo six while Zamfara has five.

Others are Sokoto five, Nasarawa four with Kwara, Edo, Ekiti, Borno and Yobe states having three fresh cases each.

Adamawa state has also recorded two new cases while Niger, Imo, Ebonyi, Rivers and Enugu have one cases each.
