The Chairman of the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), Ondo State Council, Comrade Ademola-Adeniji Olapade has congratulated all Christians and the people of Ondo State on the occasion of the 2020 Easter Celebration.
Ademola-Adeniji Olapade in his 2020 Easter Message, thanked God who out of love for mankind sent his only beloved son to die for the salvation of mankind.
Olapade called on all Christians to appreciate God with their hearts, minds and voices to praise Him and his only son, Jesus Christ who ransomed mankind with his blood.
“As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, bringing eternal life to us, we should not allow the monster called coronavirus that is ravaging the world to deprive or deny us the right to rejoice for the gift of eternal life given to us by God even though the virus has caused damages and loss of lives. ”
He also advised all Nigerians to stay safe by adhering to the directive of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Ademola-Adeniji Olapade urged Nigerians to be strong, united and help one another during this hard time , bearing in mind that the resurrection of Christ has given hope to all.
He called on the people to flee from sin, forgive one another as Christ forgave sins on the cross of Calvary and live a life of prayer, penance and charity to show God that the death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ was not in vain.
The NCSU however called on the State government to consider the less privileged people in Ondo State who due to this coronavirus pandemic were facing difficult time.
He stressed the need for the Ondo state government to ensure palliative items flagged off by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu get to truly vulnerable people across the state.
