I felt totally sick losing Grammys to Kidjo –Burna Boy

Nigerian Hip Hop musician , Burna Boy on Tuesday said he felt sick for losing in the 2020 Grammys to Angélique Kidjo.

The 2020 Grammys, the 62nd annual celebration took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and Burna Boy was one of the nominees for Best World Music Album with his album, African Giant but lost to Celia album by Angélique Kidjo

When asked on twitter by one Leo Folarin about how he felt losing the award,@leo_folarin asked : Burna how did you feel losing the Grammy?

Burna Boy said he felt totally sick .

He replied that “Sick. Totally sick. But my musical Mother @angeliquekidjo told me everything I needed to understand about the Grammys.

So now I’m “Twice as Tall” (that’s the name of my next Album by the way dropping in July by the grace of the most High).

Other fan asked him why he chose his mother as his manager

he said “Why did you choose your mum as your manager
And when should will expect a new Hit Jam @burnaboy

Burna Boy said “Because she is the only person qualified to talk to me and she is the only living human being that I truly 100% TRUST.”
