Father burns two sons with hot iron in Ekiti

A father , Olanrewaju Babatunde has tortured his two children with hot iron at Ijesamodu, Ilejemeje local government area of Ekiti state.

The incident left the children who are two and seven years old with serious injuries while their offence was yet to be known as of press time.

The father has been arrested by the police in Ekiti state.

The eyes of the youngest victim was badly damaged as a result of injury sustained from the hot iron.

It was gathered that the victims were rejected at the general hospital in Ijesamodu Ekiti  when they were rushed for urgent treatment by some neighbours  due to the degree of the injury sustained.

They were later referred to Federal Medical Centre Ido Ekiti where they are currently receiving treatment on the bill of wife of the state governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi.

The Samaritans later called the attention of the police to the mater which eventually led to the arrest of the man.
