An APC chairmanship aspirant in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state, Collins Awoseye was on Wednesday attacked and injured by people suspected to be thugs while on his way to a political meeting.
Awoseye who was narrating his ordeal to ROVING REPORTERS in hospital bed said the speaker Ondo state house of assembly, Bamidele Oleyeloogun had invited him to his lodge in akure for a meeting over crisis that followed the imposition of an aspirant over others in the party’s primary in Ifedore.
Awoseye alleged that the thugs who were led by the personal Assistant to the speaker, Kunle Ajayi attacked and machete him before he was rescued and rushed to the hospital.
