Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has described installation of cable car for Idanre Hill as part of his plans to revitalise tourism in the town.
Governor Akeredolu stated this on his official Twitter handle on Tuesday while responding to comments by followers on the need to install cable cars in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

In his response, Akeredolu said Idanre would be the first to witness such development for the purpose of tourism.
Akeredolu said “Idanre first. The views of Idanre Hills from a cable car would be quite spectacular.
It is a key piece of our tourism revitalization plans. #DevelopOndo ”

Akeredolu’s policy statement has been getting commendations from followers with the hope that it would be executed very soon.
