Atiku charges Federal Government on Lassa Fever

The former vice president and presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2019 election ,Atiku Abubakar has challenged the federal and state government to be more proactive in the fight against dreaded Lassa Fever and corona virus just like the way they confronted Ebola in 2014.

Lassa fever has killed many people in more than seven states in 2019 alone.

Atiku who posted on his official twitter handle on Monday said “In 2014, Nigeria confronted and quashed the dreaded Ebola disease.

The swift battle was won by careful screening and rapid isolation.

Let us apply the same level of “world-class epidemiological detective work” in the case of Lassa Fever and the looming Coronavirus.-AA
