A community leader in Ondo state, Chief Gabriel Adegbenro has thrown his weight behind the establishment of Western Nigeria Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun.
Adegbenro, made this known while speaking with ROVING REPORTERS in Ilara- mokin, Ifedore local government of Ondo state.
He said ” I want to appreciate all the Governors of the South West for their efforts in setting up a security outfit in the region that would put an end to the menace of kidnappings and wanton killings .
We should support them and pray for the success of the programme. it is also a thing of joy for me that OPC is collaborating with them “
He also urged traditional rulers and community leaders in the southwest region to support Operation Amotekun so as to make the region a safer place from any security threat.
Chief Adegbenro however called on those saddled with protectiion of the region not to be overwhelmed with unnecessary power against those they were to protect.
The retired public servant also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to tackle the problem of epileptic source of electricity in the country as if has negatively affected the socioeconomic activities of many Nigerians .
