Araoyinbo Pays Homage To New Olowo

The immediate past Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, ODHA, Hon. Olugbenga Araoyinbo has visited the Palace of Olowo of Owo as he led his entourage to pay homage to the new Olowo, His Royal Majesty Kabiyesi, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III.

Hon. Araoyinbo while addressing Journalists at Olowo’s Palace said he was in the Palace to pay homage to the new Olowo and to felicitate with the good people of Owo Kingdom for sustaining the tradition and legacies the town is known for.

“This visit is symbolic in the sense that I came with my entourage to identify with the new Olowo and his kingdom”.

“It is very symbolic for me as multiple traditional tittle holders and as an ideological Yoruba man that respect tradition to identify with the new Olowo”.

Araoyinbo described the new Olowo a highly urbane administrator per excellence and a man of high repute whom he can vouch for his integrity as he will bring to bear in his reign to unite Owo Kingdom.

“I also want to advise other communities and towns in Ondo State with vacant stools to emulate Owo Kingdom in terms of the seamless transition of the Olowo successor”.

Araoyinbo, who is the President, Akoko Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mine and Agriculture, added that he had in the past paid similar visits to other great kingdoms even outside Ondo State.
