A former governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC party in Ondo state, Mr. Olaoluwa Adeyeye has charged the Ondo state government to restrict the movement of herdsmen within the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the former governorship aspirant himself which was made available to newsmen in Akure the Ondo state capital.
Olaoluwa’s statement is coming on the heels of recent attack on passengers plying the Ore to Lagos expressway where the daughter of the leader of Afenifere group, Pa Reuben Fasoranti ,Mrs Funke Olakunrin was shot and killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
He also called on security agencies to find new ways to end the menace that is threatening lives and security of residents of Ondo state.
It would be recalled that Mrs. Olakurin, the daughter of the Chairman of the Afenifere Pan Yoruba group was murdered along Ore road yesterday by suspected herdsmen.
