Motorists and other road users plying fanibi road woke up on Wednesday morning to meet the road barricaded by youths of the community over what they described as high handedness of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC.
The development is however causing traffic jam as motorists turned back to find another routes to their destinations.
The youths who have waken up as early as seven O’clock in the morning to barricade the road were angered by the method at which BEDC illegally collect millions of Naira from communities by allegedly cutting vital cables from their transformers,an act they carried out overnight.
