ONDO STATE CHAPTER OF OMP INAUGURATES NEW EXCO
The new leadership of the Online Media Professionals of Nigeria (OMP), Ondo State Chapter, has been formally inaugurated.
The inauguration was held at the NUJ Press Centre, Alagbaka. Akure amid pomp and ceremony.
The event attracted prominent figures from the media industry, including Prince Leke Adegbite, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ondo State Council.
In his address, Prince Adegbite congratulated the new OMP leadership, emphasizing the crucial need for online media practitioners to uphold credibility in their reporting.
He pledged NUJ’s ongoing support for capacity building and professional collaborations within the association.
Joseph Adesuyan, the newly inaugurated Chairman of OMP, expressed his commitment to working alongside his team to enhance the association’s impact and foster unity among its members.
He thanked the NUJ chairman and other stakeholders for their support, vowing that the new executives would prioritize training, welfare, and inclusiveness within the organization.
