The Independent National Electoral Commission has adjourned collation of results for the 2019 presidential election in all the 36 states of the federation, including Federal Capital Territory Abuja till 11:00am tomorrow, Monday 25/11/ 2019.
Speaking while declaring open the National Collation of results at the
International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, the INEC chairman, Professor Yakubu Mahmood said none of the results from the states is yet to arrive Abuja,hence the need for the adjournment.
Nigerians yesterday voted to elect new leaders at the presidential and national assembly levels.
Though the social media has been awashed with results from across the country, only INEC has the vested power to declare and authenticate results as provided for in the nation’s constitution.
