Scores of loyalists of the former Lagos State Governor,Asiwaju Bola Tinubu yesterday converged on Akure,the Ondo state capital for the inaugural meeting of Bola Ahmed Tinubu(BAT) Network Vision.
The excited politicians came from the 18 local government areas,extolling the virtues of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart,whom they described as a political strategist and grassroots mobilizer.
At the meeting were Alhaji Odele Akanni, the National Coordinator, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Network Vision the former Ondo state Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Prince Sola Amodeni, APC chieftain, Hon. Demola Ijabiyi, Former Ondo state Lawmaker, Hon Samuel Ade Pelemo, BAT vision State Coordinator, Akinlolu Ayodele and his deputy, Princess Bukky Oluderu (FPA).
The National Leader working through BAT NETWORK VISION is the Convener Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola,the National Grand Patron/Convener of BAT Network Vision who sent his goodwill message to all members of Ondo BAT Network Vision.
Others are Baba Golden Jay, the co-convener also sent greetings to all members,Alhaji Enilolobo the National Patron
Appreciate all members.
Chief Fred Akinsehinwa, the Ondo State Grand Patron (USA) appreciates all the National Leaders and appreciates the National Coordinator Alhaji Odele Akanni for his presence and words of encouragement at the Meeting.
The Guest Speaker Engr. Ifeoluwa Oyedele FNSE, emphasized the qualities of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and enjoined all Ondo State to join hands with the Progressives.
Speaking at the inaugural meeting, the National Coordinator of BAT Network Vision, Alhaji Odele Akanni said the movement became imperative in view of the need to liberate Nigerians and make then value democracy.
Alhaji Akanni expressed optimism that the Network vision will definitely achieve its purpose of putting Nigerians in the right frame of mind ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He described Asiwaju Tinubu as an exemplary leader worthy of emulation noting that he always add value to peoples life hence the need to give him the opportunity of showcasing his wealth of experience to the larger society.
The Guest Speaker, Engr Ifeoluwa Oyedele, FNSE, emphasized on the qualities of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and enjoined Ondo State people to support the progressives.
In a goodwill message from the United States, USA, the Ondo State Grand Patron of BAT Network Vision, Chief Fred Akinsehinwa appreciated all the National leaders for their presence in the state and their words of encouragement.
Both the coordinator and the deputy, Ayodele and Oluderu maintained that BAT vision was not a group, but a network movement to show case the values and promote the essence of Tinubu’s leadership qualities.
Oluderu said the meeting was to garner all minds together under the umbrella of BAT network vision,focusing on how the APC National leader will attain victory as Nigeria’s President in 2023.
She observed that the platform would be used to test run the 2020 guber poll in the sunshine state,urging the citizenry to key into this philosophy.
Amodeni, who extolled the leadership virtues of the former governor,said” I believe in Tinubu’s vision,through his leadership at the national level of governance, Nigeria will not be the same in handling the menace of unemployment, insecurity and economic stagnation.
The former commissioner emphasised that the present hardship in the country especially on economy and security did not start with the APC.
According to him” Eight-year in the administration of Buhari can not even solve the multi-dimensional problem in the country,he is just laying the foundation that the likes of Tinubu can build on solidly,if he is given the mandate to rule after 2023″.
He supported the closure of land borders in Nigeria,stressing that most of the fake drugs,illegal arms and ammunitions with other contrabands were brought into the country the land borders.
Amodeni enthused that with the closure,crime rate was reducing gradually,adding that the order should be permanent and total.
Ijabiyi said” As a Yoruba man,Tinubu is worth celebrating, he has demonstrated good leadership in all facets of life,I am not hesitating to join the crusade of network movement of BAT to promote his vision for Nigeria.
The official inauguration of BAT movement in the state is coming up soon and will be witnessed by eminent Nigerians within Ondo state and beyond.
